You may have seen this pretty pine dresser peaking out in a few of our recent posts, but today we are finally getting around to sharing the free plans with you.
Nick built this beautiful piece for our living room after I spotted a few similar dressers in magazines and home decor books. I was looking for a small side table to replace the industrial pipe table he built a few years ago. Aside from simply wanting to make a few changes to freshen up our living room, we wanted to add another piece that doubled as functional storage space.
So I showed him a few of the pieces I had fallen in love with…vintage dressers made of pine featuring sweet details like bun feet, wooden knobs, and curved tops. And this is what he came up with…
The warm tones of the golden oak stain we used are perfect for our living room and really help to add a bit of color and warmth, especially beside our cream-colored sofa.

Nick built the piece with 4 drawers which are perfect for storing books and magazines, along with a few space blankets for our colder weather ahead. We currently use our living room as a playroom too (we have plans to create a play space in our lower level this winter but until then we are making do), so it’s important that we have a lot of space to store all of the extra toys that we are accumulating. You might remember a few months ago Nick built a new coffee table with a sneaky little storage solution and it’s now one of my favorite pieces.
I know I’ve said this before, but I’m going to say it again…I just love Nick’s newfound love of building. I’m getting so many beautiful new pieces for our home!
